Start low, keep increasing until there's spin. This technique will take a few test passes to get the right amount. Start with a low amount of tire pressure. For slicks, this may be around 7 lbs of tire pressure.

Oct 23, 2003 · hello 1992 legend ls auto. 67K. fresh fluids and filters and no check engine light. cold starts fine, drives fine. after its completely warmed up, while in gear (Drive) I've noticed the idle intermittently goes very low, like it's almost going to stall, but it doesn't.
On an occasional basis when I come to a stop (light, stop sign, traffic) the idle will drop so low it wants to stall. I can usually catch it, give it a rev and keep it alive....but if I don't touch the throttle she stalls. But she starts right back up. I also occasionally have the idle racing.
When I try and run the motors at low (ish) RPM there is virtually no torque and the wheels will stall when under no-load. Any speed request below 90 and the wheels simply don't move. Being BLDC motors, they should be capable of considerable torque even at very low RPM.

Thus the 2000 stall converter will only stall at 1800 or less. However with this new cam the engine will make much more power above 3000 rpm. Keep in mind when the torque curve of the engine is raised you will need more stall speed in the converter to allow the vehicle to accelerate at low rpm (below 3000).
If an engine producing 200 lb-ft of torque at 3000 rpm is matched with a converter with a torque multiplication of 2.5:1 and a stall speed of 3000 rpm, 500 lb-ft will be available at launch. However, if that engine produces 300 lb-ft at 4000 rpm, a converter with a higher stall speed would give a bigger ‘hit’ of torque at launch.
I am going to bring my bike in but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas what this could be. Last Wed I packed my bike up for a trip to Lake George for Americade. Rolled the bike out of the garage and went to start it. It started right up but stalled immediately. This happened about 4 more...
The rpm on dash at best indiates 1400. Computer indicates up to 1450 and spec is 1550. It tends to oscilate rpm and at some point oscilates too low and dies. It had gotten to a point it would not idle at all without some manual throttle help.
The Battle Shifter by Battle Factory is a lightweight, compact semi-automatic up shifting system that provides quick, smooth shifts every time. Unlike other popular shifters, the Battle Shifter automatically adjusts the duration of the ignition cut to match RPM's - longer cuts at low RPM's and shorter ones at High RPM's.
The rpm's will drop to 500-800, engine will shake, and either stall out or surge up to 1300 rpm's before going back down to 1000. When the rpm's are low if I press the gas nothing happens or the car stalls out immediately. This only happens once it is warmed up. I have consistently let it idle for fifteen to twenty minutes when cold and no problems.
Then it started to buck at low RPMs if I gave it too much throttle. If the MAF was stuck reading extremely low then this issue would get progressively worse as you opened up the throttle.
May 16, 2013 · my new 310 (5 hrs) is prone to stalling at low rpm, will not lug as well as my KTM 280, will a different map help, or maybe lower gearing, 13/50 now. I had a similar problem with my new '13 te310-every time I would come to a stop and chop the throttle it would die.
